A Ballot Box in Corvallis

This ballot box was located in the basement of the Corvallis Courthouse in Oregon. For those of you not in the know, we vote by mail here, but if you're too lazy to send in your ballot early (or too cheap to spend money on postage) you can turn it in at one of these.

There was a nice cop there who I asked if I could take this picture; he didn't know, but the elections official there said to go ahead; she pointed out that there were a bunch of them just lying around town, so it'd be pretty silly if you couldn't.
